For us, sustainability means that we question the consequences of our actions in terms of ecological and social impacts, take responsibility and make our contribution to a more sustainable and social world.
We work every day to keep undesirable consequences as low as possible. Our goal is for the positive measures to outweigh the negative effects and for us to be able to show a green overall balance. However, there are a few steps to take before we get there - and we are happy to take them.

What we do.
In the end, the aim is for the sum of all measures to result in more sustainable production. For this reason, our efforts are a conglomerate of large and small, as well as ecological, social and economic measures of various kinds. These work together, interact with each other and are subject to a certain complexity.
Our most important measures (as of June 24):
- Quality: The longevity of a product is one of the best ways to conserve resources.
- Short supply chains: Our soles are manufactured in Pirmasens and the entire shoe is made in Portugal.
- Sustainable materials: Leather from the food industry and vegan materials made from renewable raw materials reduce the impact on the environment.
- Certified raw materials: Our materials are demonstrably produced in an environmentally friendly manner.
- Green electricity: Thanks to solar energy, on good days more energy is produced than is needed for production.
- Fair production: Within the EU, strict guidelines apply to ensure compliance with fair working conditions and environmental standards.
- No plastic: Our shoes come to you in boxes made of recycled material and we also avoid using plastic wherever possible.
