While the first pillar is the result of a consistently designed barefoot shoe, a lot of experience and masterfully constructed, the following two can be assigned to the production process. Portugal has a long tradition in the processing of leather and the production of traditional handmade leather shoes. The centuries -old Portuguese shoe trade has opened and developed in the past decades of modernity. Modern technologies and innovation have joined the strong foundation of proud tradition and old knowledge. The combination of immense experience and modern technologies enables the production of more modern barefoot shoes in the highest quality. Despite all the technical achievements, the production of high -quality shoes is still the result of skillful manual work. With every single production step of our barefoot shoes are experienced hands and trained looks. From the punching out of the various shoe parts from the dermis and putting together the many individual cuts to the union of the shoe top with the sole to the finish, every single step is taken through the skillful hands of experienced workers. Overall, over 100 steps are necessary from the first cut to the last seam until you can enjoy a finished blusun in reliable quality on your feet. 

Sustainable quality.

There is no question for us that the production of our barefoot shoes under the lowest possible resource consumption and under fair working conditions. The latter are guaranteed in Portugal, since the workers receive fair wages, are secured by social benefits and are under a strict statutory prescribed occupational safety. With regard to sustainability, the cooperation with our Portuguese partners offers us two decisive advantage. On the one hand are ours barefoot shoes Thanks to the high quality of material and processing, very durable- and hardly anything is more resource-saving than a durable product. In addition, only poison -free and sustainable raw materials are used for the production and the factory draws its electricity from solar energy.
