The founders of BLUSUN, Silvia Brindlmayer and Dirk Pfeffer, bring decades of experience in the barefoot shoe and fashion sectors. Both played a significant role in building and establishing two major and successful barefoot shoe brands both nationally and internationally.
Silvia is the brand's designer. She has a keen eye for upcoming trends and a talent for blending timeless and fashionable elements, using thoughtfully placed details to create the perfect accents.
Dirk, a master of sales and an expert in all things barefoot, is highly connected and shares his knowledge and the strengths of BLUSUN in an authentic and engaging way.

BLUSUN is a playful adaptation of the Italian phrase “sole azzurro,” which translates to “blue sun.” The brand name combines the beauty of the azure sky with the brilliance of the sun, evoking a connection to a carefree, Mediterranean lifestyle and cozy comfort. Drawing from this inspiring imagery, BLUSUN aims to unite fashion and mindfulness in perfect harmony.
